The Watermelon tourmaline series

Watermelon Tourmaline is one of the rarest varieties of tourmaline. It gets its name from nature itself: a pink centre wrapped in green, very much like a slice of watermelon.

The women in my family owned only a handful of jewels, mostly in silver and gold with hints of meenakari, yet every piece was treasured.
